16 Dec Rosco de vino Christmas Pretzels
In December, the most important catholic holiday, Christmas, takes place. We want to join, right? Let’s bake Spanish dessert, for example!
Wheat flour 360 gr.
Pork fat 40 gr.
White sweet wine 70 ml.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 65 ml.
Sesame seeds 10 gr.
Sugar powder 100 gr.
Anise liqueur 10 ml.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Meanwhile, pour olive oil into a saucepan, add sesame and keep it simmering, keeping the oil from boiling. We are waiting for the release of sesame flavor. Then sift the flour and mix it in a bowl with pork fat, wine, powdered sugar and anise liqueur. Slowly pour in olive oil with sesame there and stir the dough until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
How to make pretzels: you need to divide the dough into lumps the size of a walnut, roll them sausage and connect the ends. Put the resulting pretzels on a baking sheet, on foil or baking paper. Bake for about 12 minutes, until they are covered with a crust, while remaining soft inside. Removing the pretzels from the oven should be well rolled in icing sugar, cool and serve.
