13 Jul Baked Camembert with thyme
Camembert – the soft cheese covered with a white noble mold. Traditionally it is prepared from cow’s milk, but goat Camembert is more refined and tasty cheese well suitable for cooking.
To surprise your nearest and dearest with an unusual dish, take one circle of goat Camembert, 2 garlic heads, 4 stalks of a fresh thyme, 1,5 tablespoons of Maestro de Oliva olive oil and a loaf of white bread.
Warm an oven to 200 degrees. Cut 1 garlic head in small pieces. Then make several cuts on cheese and lard with pieces of garlic and thyme. From above sprinkle 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil and lay out on a baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes until the center of cheese melts. Meanwhile cut white loaf pieces and sprinkle olive oil. Roast on a grill or in a toaster bread and then grate with the remained garlic. On a dish lay out the cheese, then spread out toasts around and serve at once.
